Katie Sebbane joined the University of Pittsburgh softball staff in August of 2019 and enters her first season as the volunteer assistant coach at Pitt.
Seton Hill University | Assistant Coach | 2019
  • Served as an assistant coach for the Seton Hill softball team in their 2019 season
  • Worked primarily with infield and hitting
  • Team went 29-18 in her lone season, marking its highest win total since 2015
Misericordia University | Graduate Assistant Coach | 2017-18
  • Served as a graduate assistant coach for the Misericordia softball team in their 2017 and 2018 seasons
  • Worked primarily with outfield and hitting
  • Helped the 2018 team set a single-season program home run record, collecting 39 long balls in 41 games
Playing Career | Salisbury University | 2013-2016
  • Four-time All-Capital Athletic Conference honoree
  • Named to NFCA All-Region Team as a sophomore
  • Played in 183 career games while recording a .316 batting average and adding 153 hits, 128 RBI, 84 runs, 44 walks, 30 doubles and 16 home runs
  • Earned master’s degree in organizational management from Misericordia University in 2018
  • Earned bachelor’s degree in physical education from Salisbury University in 2016
  • Daughter of Roland and Susan Sebbane
